Steel Exchange India has received approval from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) for the use of its flagship Simhadri TMT bars in ongoing and upcoming construction projects across Amaravati Capital City. The approval marks a significant milestone for the company and strengthens its presence in one of India's largest infrastructure development programs.
The authorization covers multiple grades of Simhadri TMT, including Fe550, Fe500D, Fe550D, and Fe550D CRS (Corrosion Resistant Steel), allowing the products to be used in various government-backed infrastructure and urban development projects within the Amaravati region.According to the company, the approval reinforces the quality and reliability of its products while enhancing opportunities to participate in large-scale construction projects. The move is expected to increase the visibility of the Simhadri TMT brand and potentially support future order inflows from contractors involved in Amaravati's development.
Amaravati remains a key infrastructure initiative in Andhra Pradesh, with extensive investments planned across transportation, public facilities, commercial zones, and residential developments. The APCRDA approval positions Steel Exchange India to benefit from the region's growing construction demand and infrastructure expansion.
