Plate Side Cut scrap comprises long side patti strips removed when gas cutting or shearing plates to final width, creating continuous narrow plates that behave much like flat bars.

Key Features – Plate Side Cut

• Side cuts generated along plate edges during gas cutting or shearing to required width.
• Edges may show cut marks and minor surface imperfections from burning or shearing.
• Lengths generally exceed 1000 mm, giving usable long strips.
• Width variation across lots; typical bands are 50–100 mm and 101–500 mm with thickness from about 7–150 mm.
• Lots usually mix several grades and are supplied bare in strapped bundles.
